Identity: Romans 12:2
Culture shapes the way people think, behave, and live. We are influenced daily by our upbringing, the environments we work in, the content we consume, the conversations we engage in, social media and entertainment. Over time, these influences can begin to shape our beliefs and values more strongly than God’s Word if we are not intentional.
Social media, in particular, has become a powerful force in defining modern culture. Constant exposure to trends, opinions, and lifestyles can gradually influence what people normalize, celebrate, or accept.
As believers, we are called to evaluate culture through the lens of Scripture rather than allowing culture to define truth for us.
Sexual identity : Genesis 1:25–27, God intentionally created spirits as male and female. Genesis 2 vs 6-7 further emphasizes how the male spirit was put into male body and vs 21 female spirit was put into the female body.
The biblical perspective teaches that human beings are intentionally created by God, our lives are not accidents or mistakes, God’s design carries purpose and meaning.
Psalm 139 also reminds us that we are “fearfully and wonderfully made.” Because of this, believers are encouraged to approach identity with reverence for God’s design and with compassion, humility, and truth toward others.
Scripture also addresses sexual conduct and morality in passages such as Leviticus 18:22 and 20:13, Romans 1:21, 26–27.
Cohabitation: Cohabitation refers to a living arrangement where two unmarried people live together in a romantic or intimate relationship.
Common forms include:
Ephesians 5:3 encourages believers to pursue purity and conduct that honors God.
Faith and Medicine: Faith and medicine do not have to oppose one another.
Genesis 1:11, God created the earth to bring forth plants and living resources, which many understand as part of His provision for humanity.
There is nothing wrong with praying for healing, trusting God, taking medication responsibly.
Faith is not the rejection of wisdom or medical help. Believers can trust God both for divine healing and for wisdom through medicine and healthcare.
