Stay had us in a tranquil state, thinking deeply about what it means to stay in the in the presence of God. Pastor Mark planted some insightful words in our hearts.
– When you are “Staying”, you can’t stay if you don’t trust.
“Trust in and rely confidently on the Lord with all your heart And do not rely on your own insight or understanding. In all your ways know and acknowledge and recognize Him, And He will make your paths straight and smooth [removing obstacles that block your way].”
Proverbs 3:5-6 (AMP)
– God is not a genie in a bottle but He is the monarch of the universe.
– To “stay”, you have to trust.
– In the place of staying, there is trust, there is faith.
– God is a master engineer of all things.
– Trusting in God has zero risk of failure.
God has blessed you with gifts and talents but it is not for you to rely on them, thinking you can figure it out on your own.
– Trust God with the gifts and intelligence He has given to you.
– When you rely on God, your opinion does not count.
– It is not about you, it is about God. It is not about the blessing, it is about the blesser. God is the blesser.
– It is about God’s will. What He wants to happen.
– In everything give the glory to God.
– God is looking for an opportunity to bless you.
Here is a question to go and think about deeply.
– Do you rely on Him or on your own understanding?
– You live for an audience of one.
– A word from God can last you a decade.
