Deserving = Worthy

• Salvation is a calling. We are all ministers of salvation.
• Jesus’ love is free but we ought to walk in a manner that’s deserving of that love. Show that you love Him back.
• Walk in a way that’s consistent with your salvation. There MUST be a change; it has to be evident.
How to walk in a deserving manner:
1. Acquire knowledge
Col. 1:9-10
– increase in the knowledge of God; knowledge brings about understanding and intimacy.
– desire to know God for yourself.
2. Be obedient
John 14:15,21,23
– The response is “yes sir” to everything Jesus says we should do.
3. Constantly bear fruits
Colossians 1:10, 2 Corinthians 5:18-20 NIV
– winning souls
– living a lifestyle that represents Christ. Ephesians 4:1 NIV
– be unashamed about Jesus Christ.
